REVIEW: Gifted by Liz Long

BOOK PROVIDED BY MARK MY WORDS FOR HONEST REVIEW

JAIME'S REVIEW

In this book we meet Lucy who has lost her parents but her mother was the most recent. With nothing else to do and nowhere else to go, she calls upon Mr. Sheffield Donovan.

Mr. Sheffield is the circus owner of the Donovan Circus. This isn't your normal type of circus either. Lucy knows this, as she was part of it many years ago before her dad all of the sudden said no more and took her and her mother to live a 'normal' life.

Sheffield knows of Lucy's talents, as she is a product of her father.
Lucy is a Firestarter. Seemingly, much more powerful than her father was. She isn't the only one, but she is the one with the most power.
This is a circus filled with Gifted people.

One night, a local bar goer couldn't keep his hands to himself. He earned himself a little zap, earning a group of gifted in trouble. Especially when that bar goer turns up dead.

People are starting to die, if it's coincidental to Lucy's arrival...a lot of members of the circus seem to think so.

Can she clear her name before someone kills her?

Gifted had it's twists and turns. Even had me second guessing characters. I believe I was up until 2 in the morning wanting to finish it. The bags were worth it to me. :)
It was a good book! I would definitely wouldn't mind reading it again!
